Are you ready to
If you have been watching the news and thinking I need to get prepared, you are in the right place...
and you aren't alone.
Over 50% of people living in the US think preparedness is unnecessary.
That is a lot of unprepared people fighting for a case of water when the meterologist says a storm is coming.
I want you to know that you don't have to join them
Instead, imagine this...a storm is coming and you feel secure and ready for it. You and your family are prepared for your most likely emergencies. Your water storage is ready, your pantry is stocked, and you even know where you are going in an evacuation.
You are sipping cocoa, your kids are calm, and dinner is almost ready. Your social media feed is full of photos of the craziness at your local grocery store. You breathe a sigh of relief because...
You are prepared, not scared.

TPL has been such an encouragement to me in my homestead/preparedness journey. I especially love Allison's perspective that anyone can do this, even if you don't own acreage or have animals.
Homesteading is a mindset and an intention to develop both skills and community more than anything else. That has inspired me to learn new things, try new things, and keep working on shortening my family's food supply chain.
I just love that this is for everyone (even people living in suburbia, like me) and that we can all cheer each other on no matter what our specific situations are!
